About Athnova Care
Athnova Care is a WhatsApp-first daily check-in and care-coordination service for elderly parents in India, run for their children abroad.
What we do
Athnova Care checks on your parent every day on WhatsApp, in their own language, and tells you how they are. If they do not reply, we remind them, then call them, then alert you and the local contacts you chose. Around that daily signal we keep medicines, refills, reports and readings in one place, and prepare a doctor-ready summary each month.
Who it is for
- Adult children living in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, the UAE, Singapore and elsewhere whose parents live in India.
- Parents who already use WhatsApp — or a basic phone for the call fallback. They install nothing and create no account.
- Siblings who want to share the load: up to 4 family members on one plan.
How it works
- You add your parent: WhatsApp number, language, medicines, two local contacts. About 3 minutes.
- Your parent receives an invitation on WhatsApp and taps "Yes, I agree". Nothing starts without that.
- Every day at the time you pick, one message with buttons: taken, not yet, please call me.
- No reply: a reminder, then an automated call in their language, then an alert to you and your local contacts.
What we do not do
- We are not doctors and do not diagnose, prescribe or change doses.
- We are not an emergency service. In an emergency in India call 112 (108 for an ambulance).
- We do not sell medicines. Refills go to your parent’s own local chemist, only after your parent agrees and you approve the price.
- We do not sell data or use health data for advertising.
