What we collect

Your account details (name, email, country) and your family's settings.
Your parent's details you add: name, WhatsApp number, language, medicines, contacts, and — only after they consent — their check-in replies, readings, reports and messages.
Payment status from our payment providers. We never see or store full card numbers.

Your parent must agree before we send daily messages or calls, or store their replies: on WhatsApp by tapping "Yes, I agree", or on our phone call by pressing 1 after we explain who we are and what we do. We keep a record of that agreement (the WhatsApp message or the call). They can reply STOP, or press 9 on a call, at any time. Local contacts are messaged only for alerts.

How we use it

To run check-ins, reminders, calls and alerts.
To read reports and readings and show trends to the family members you invite.
To arrange orders you approve with labs, pharmacies and doctors — sharing only what that partner needs.
We do not sell data and do not use health data for advertising.

AI processing

Some messages, photos and reports are read by an AI model on our servers to extract readings and values. Only the minimum needed is sent, requests are logged, and outputs never include a diagnosis or dosage advice.

Storage and security

Sensitive fields such as phone numbers and addresses are encrypted at rest. Files are stored privately and shared only through short-lived links. Access by our staff is logged.

Website analytics and cookies

The public pages of this website (the ones you can read without signing in) use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It records pages viewed, the country and type of device, and how you arrived. We have switched off advertising features and Google signals, and we do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers or anything you type into a tool or form. The signed-in family app, where health information is shown, does not load Google Analytics at all.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked before analytics cookies are set, and can decline. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, analytics is not loaded.

If you write to our WhatsApp number before you are a family on Athnova Care — a question, or the DEMO keyword — we keep what you wrote and your number, encrypted, so that a person (the founder) can answer you in the same chat. We email ourselves only that a message is waiting, never its text or your number. These messages are deleted after 30 days; ask us to delete them sooner at any time. A DEMO request is answered and counted, and its text is not kept.

If you or your parent live outside India

Our servers are in India (Oracle Cloud, Mumbai), so information about a parent who lives in another country is stored and processed in India, and some of it is handled by the processors listed below, which operate in several countries. We process a parent’s health information only after that parent has agreed on WhatsApp or on our phone call, and only to provide the service to their family.

Wherever you live, you and your parent can ask us for a copy of the information we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. A parent can withdraw their agreement at any time by replying STOP, or by pressing 9 on our call. Write to the address below and we will answer within 30 days. If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom you also have the right to complain to your data-protection authority.

Your choices

Download or delete your account from the app. Deletion removes personal data after 30 days, except records we must keep for payments.

Oracle Cloud, Mumbai region (our servers; photos and reports are stored there), Meta (WhatsApp Business), Twilio (calls), Google (Gemini AI processing, sign-in, and Analytics on the public website only), Resend (email), Cloudflare (network and DNS), Dodo Payments (card payments), Google Play and RevenueCat (subscriptions bought in the Android app). Partners for orders you approve receive only the details needed.
