What the gift is

A code worth one year of the full family plan — $99 — that the receiving family redeems in the app. It covers up to two parents and four family members: the daily check-in on WhatsApp or by phone call in any of 21 languages, the reminder and the call when a parent goes quiet, alerts to the family and a neighbour, medicine reminders and refills, readings and reports, the monthly doctor-ready summary and the emergency card. Nothing is shipped and nothing needs installing on the parent’s phone.

Who gives it, and to whom

A son or daughter abroad, to their own parents — the commonest case. You buy the code, set the family up yourself and add your siblings.
A sibling who lives near the parents, to the one who lives far away and worries most: the gift is the peace of mind.
Grandchildren, together, to grandparents in India, Pakistan, Mexico, the Philippines or Romania.
A friend, to a friend who has just moved abroad and left a widowed parent behind.
An employer, to an employee who has flown home for a family emergency twice this year.

How it works

Buy the gift code in the app (card, in US dollars). You receive the code and a short message to forward.
Send the code on WhatsApp or email, or print the card. The receiving family opens the link and signs in (or enters the code under Billing), and the year starts that day.
They add the parent (three minutes), the parent says “Yes, I agree” on WhatsApp, and the first check-in goes out the next morning.
If the family already has a plan, the code adds a year after it. Codes do not expire, and a code is never charged twice.

Occasions

Diwali (8 November 2026), Eid, Christmas, Chinese New Year, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, a 70th birthday, a retirement, or the week you fly back after a visit and the worry starts again. The gift is the same; only the card changes.

What to say when you give it

Parents sometimes hear “check-in service” as “you think I cannot cope”. What works is the truth: “It is for me, not for you — one message a day so I can stop calling at 3 AM to ask whether you are fine.” Most parents agree on the spot, and the daily question becomes a small ritual they look forward to.

How much is the gift?

$99 for one year of the full plan, the same as the yearly price. There is no gift surcharge.

Can the gift be used for a parent outside India?

Yes. The parent can live in any country where they use WhatsApp; the daily phone call reaches 25 countries. Tests, refills and the chemist are arranged in India only.

What if they already pay monthly?

The code adds twelve months after the period they have paid for. A monthly plan does not pause by itself: they cancel it in two taps (nothing is lost, the gifted year carries on), or write to us and we do it for them.

Can I buy it from India in rupees?

The gift code is charged in US dollars by card. Families in India can instead subscribe through the Android app on Google Play, which bills in rupees.

Is it refundable?

An unredeemed code can be refunded within 30 days; write to us. Once redeemed, it belongs to the receiving family.
