How we protect your family’s information

Where Athnova Care stores your parents' information, what is encrypted, who can see it, how consent works and how to delete it.

Where it lives

On our own servers in India (Oracle Cloud, Mumbai region). Photos of reports and prescriptions are stored there too, privately, and shown only through short-lived links.

What is encrypted

Everything travels over HTTPS.
Phone numbers, addresses, allergies, notes and doctors’ numbers are encrypted in the database (AES-256-GCM), with separate hashes for look-ups.
Database backups are encrypted and made every night.

Who can see it

Only the family members on your plan. Every request is checked against your family; one family can never see another’s data.
Two named people in our team can open an account to help you, and every such action is logged.
Partners you approve for an order (a lab, a pharmacy, a doctor) receive only what that order needs.

Nothing is sent to your parent until they agree: on WhatsApp by tapping "Yes, I agree", or on our call by pressing 1. We keep the record of that agreement. They can reply STOP, or press 9 on a call, at any time, and it stops at once.

AI, carefully

Replies, readings and reports are read by an AI model on our servers to pick out values and summarise. Only what the task needs is sent, every request is logged, and the output never contains a diagnosis or dosage advice.

What we never do

Sell data or use health information for advertising.
Load analytics or advertising trackers in the signed-in family app.
See or store your card number: payments are handled by Dodo Payments and Google Play.

Deleting your data

You can download or delete your account from the app. Personal data is removed within 30 days, except payment records we must keep by law. Write to us for anything else.
